To all our valued patients,
We have moved to our new location at Level 1, 233 Collins Street Melbourne 3000. We are very excited to finally be settled in and ready to see you again. Please contact the office with any questions or to schedule an appointment.
We wanted to give you an update regarding the clinic’s ongoing response to the evolving COVID-19. As always, the health and safety of our patients and staff are of our upmost importance. Our staff are highly trained in infection control and cross contamination procedures, with their many years in the industry. That being said, we have now included additional procedures to control the environment we are in.
What we are doing:
- Currently we are only seeing patient with emergency concerns/conditions (please call he office for more information)
- All visitors to the clinic are instructed to wash their hands and/or use the provided hand sanitiser upon entering the building and again before they leave
- Staff are disinfecting all surfaces – As is our normal standard
- Chairs in the waiting room have been placed one metre apart and we are deliberately allowing time between some patients to allow for cleaning and to reduce the number of people congregating in the reception area
- Appointments are being spread out to ensure minimal to no crossover of patient’s in the common areas
- All common area surfaces are wiped clean after every use, particularly the “high touch” items including our chairs, bench-tops, door handles, light switches, pens, EFTPOS machine, taps and desks
- Magazines and drinking facilities have been removed from the reception area
- Staff have been instructed not to present to the clinic if they are showing any signs or symptoms of illness whatsoever
What you can do to help us:
- Wash your hands and use the provided hand sanitiser
PEASE LET THE STAFF KNOW IF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING APPLY TO YOU:
- Have experienced a fever or history of fever AND acute respiratory infection (shortness of breath or cough or sore throat)
- Severe acute respiratory infection without fever requiring hospitalisation
- Travelled internationally in the last 14 days (Currently – N/A)
- Travelled nationally by plane
- Close contact within 14 days before illness onset with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19.
If any of the above apply to you then we recommend that you delay your dental appointments.
We will be continue to monitor the information provided about Covid-19 from the Centre for Disease Control, Australian Dental Association and the Department of Health and Human Services. We will be updating our procedures and protocols along the way. With these measures in place we are confident we can do our part to minimise the risk of exposure for our patients and staff. We have always maintained high standards when it comes to hygiene and cleanliness around the clinic, and this is a chance to build on these going forward. Ultimately we aim to provide you with the best care in the safest space.
